Join us as we explore the Big Apple with many of the cities highlights and landmarks, including The Rockefeller Plaza,Times Square, Central Park,visit 911 memorial and pay tribute to the 911 victims and heroes, take a local tour throughout Manhattan, see the spectacular views from a cruise boat, plus take a train into Red Bank,NJ. to visit The JBJ Soul Kitchen where "Hope is Delicious", and eat at the restaurant that helps to feed those in need, By joining us, you will be helping us to give back to a wonderful organization. Breezy Backpack will give a donation to the restaurant while visiting. A percentage of all charity tours goes to the non-profit organization we visit on the tour.

JBJ Soul Kitchen is a non-profit community restaurant. It was founded by The Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation. The restaurant serves in need and paying customers. Many of the staff are volunteers and provide customers with a delicious meal in a caring and friendly environment. DAY 1, Tuesday October 6,2020
Today, we arrive at The BIG Apple! Settle into your room and later the group will have a meet and greet at 5:00pm , then head out for a dinner together.

DAY 2, Wednesday October 7, 2020
After breakfast, we will set out early to explore NYC! Today, we are seeing some of the cities highlights with a local tour guide. We will start our journey by taking a short walk to meet our guide and head out to see NYC.
Our first stop will be Central park where we will take a short walk and visit strawberry fields (dedicated to John Lennon) and we learn a little about the famous park that spreads out 2.5 miles. As we head to our next stop we will pass The Central Park Zoo and Carnegie Hall.
Our next stop is The Rockefeller Plaza. Here our guide will show us sites like the NBC Studio and Rockefeller Plaza we will learn facts about the iconic plaza and see the St. Patrick cathedral.
Our third stop is Madison Square Park. The park is where Madison Square Gardens was original built and has spectacular views of The Empire State Building and The Flatiron Building. Enroute, we pass some of New York's iconic landmarks and areas like Greenwich Village, Soho, The UN, Chinatown and Wall Street.
Our next stop takes us to The World Trade Center and 911 Memorial. Here, we honor and remember all those affected by this terrible tragedy.We will visit the waterfalls of "Reflecting Absence and the "Tree of Survivors".
After visiting 911 we will stop at 55 Fulton's Market for lunch, Fulton's has a wide variety of cold and hot items to choose from. It's a delicious local favorite for lunch time.
Our final stop is Pier 17, where we will board a sightseeing cruise on the river. The cruise will circle The Statue of Liberty (great photo opportunity), see Ellis Island,The Brooklyn Bridge, and the breathtaking views of the Manhattan and Brooklyn skyline. After the tour dinner is your choice, there are a huge variety of places right near the hotel to choose from.The tour director will have a list of suggestions of local spots near the hotel.

Day 3, Thursday October 8, 2020
Today, we get a late start and meet in the hotel lobby at 12:00 noon and head out for lunch. after lunch we will explore Times Square by foot, starting at 49th Street, seeing historical landmarks like The Time Tower and Time Ball and The Knickerbocker Hotel. There will be time for some souvenir shopping as well.We end at 34th Street and hop aboard the NJ coast line train at the Penn Station where we will board the train for a 1-1/2 hour ride to the quaint little town of Red Bank, NJ. We'll have dinner at the JBJ Soul Kitchen,the famous non-profit restaurant founded by Jon Bonjovi and his wife Dorothea.The small little place that makes a huge difference in the community feeding paying and non paying guests.The soul Kitchen is ran by local volunteers who believe no one should ever go hungry.
Breezy Backpack gives a percentage of it's tour profits as a donation to the tour we are visiting on our charity tours. By joining us you are helping us to give back to a great organization that helps those in need. Returning to NY, we will take a subway back to the hotel.

Day 4, Friday October 9, 2020
Today is your choice. Visit Central Park for a bike tour, take a city tour, go to the top of the Observatory, or maybe do some window shopping on Fifth Ave. It's an endless assortment of things to do in the city on your free time. Later this evening we will meet at the hotel around 6:00 pm and head out for our final dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 5, Saturday October 10, 2020
Time to say goodbye to New York and your new friends and head back home. Your tour director will assist with your airport transfers.

ACTIVITY LEVEL AND HEALTH
Active: This tour will require walking, possible stair climbing, standing for long periods, climbing on and off buses/trains/subways, walking in crowded areas, uneven pavement and steps. You will need to be able to walk at least 2-4 miles a day to participate in the tour. It is the responsibility of the guest to determine if the activity level is right for them.

When to book your airfare:
Tours are guaranteed after a minimum of 2-4 guests have booked. It is very rare that a tour is not guaranteed. We ask that our guests wait until they have received the confirmation email that the tour is guaranteed before booking flights. The email will be received no later than 120 days prior to tour start date. Tours book fast, so please don't wait until it says guaranteed,All guaranteed tours will be noted at the top of the booking page (under the SIGN ME UP button) once they are booked with the minimum guests.
Shared transportation to the hotel is arranged on arrival and departure for all guests.
Please arrange flights so that your hotel arrival time will be no later than 4:00 p.m in order to be at the group meeting. Hotel check-in policies will apply.

Deadline for final payments for this tour is July 6, 2020 (90 Days prior to tour start date).
All payments must be paid in full by this date or the tour will be considered cancelled by the guest and cancellation policies will apply. Payments can be made by phone or by mail.

By Phone - Once you have submitted the booking form a representative will contact you by phone and go over the itinerary and securely process your payment by credit or debit card.
By Mail - After submitting the booking form,you will receive a invoice in email. We accept personal checks, cashiers check and money orders. You have 14 days to get your payment in when choosing this option.Your booking is not complete until payment is received and cleared by the bank.

Cancellation Deadlines and Policies:
Due to Covid-19 our cancellation policies have changed.
NEW CANCELLATION POLICIES:
Up to 72 hours prior to tour departure - Full 100% refund including deposit.
72 hours or Less prior to tour start date - Deposit is retained and 50% of the total paid to the tour.
Tours are booked until full, If you are booking 90 days or less, prior to the tour start date full payment is required.
During the tour we will be traveling by mini coach, train, bus and subway.
A passport is needed whenever traveling into and outside of The United States. Passports are not needed for domestic U.S. flights, if you are traveling from outside the U.S. you will need a passport for this tour.

The amount of spending money you have is completely up to you. We recommend that you set aside a daily allowance for each day of the tour that includes meals not listed, personal expenses, drinks, snacks, shopping ect. The meals included are noted each day in the itinerary above. Room service is not included in the price of the tour.
We recommend that you notify your bank and credit card company to let them know you will be out of town to prevent a possible freeze on your account.
